Nashville, Tenn. Mar. 16, 2011… Selling over 30,000 units, taking the No.1 spot on the Christian Albums chart and No. 11 on Billboards' Top 200, sixstepsrecords’ Passion: Here For You has topped their own street week debut for a Passion record to date.

In addition to topping the charts, the latest single from the new album, “Waiting Here For You” from Christy Nockels will go for radio adds next week. To see the live performance of the song, please click here.

Media are continuing to echo strong reviews of Passion: Here For You.

“There’s a reason why many of today’s brightest worship leaders and songwriters originate from the Passion camp. Listen to Here for You and you’ll discover why.” – Crosswalk.com

“… You just can’t get a better worship album than what Passion puts out… I can’t imagine it not being in consideration for my favorite album of the year.” – ChristianMusicZine.com

“I think the house that Passion built has delivered one of its finest albums in the form of Here For You. And while every live project will always fall short of the thing itself, Here For You comes very close to making you feel like you’re there.” – TheChristianManifesto.com

The live recording from Passion 2011 features 12 songs, with a digital deluxe version, that, along with the voices of 22,000-plus college students, includes 15 songs from popular worship artists Chris Tomlin, David Crowder*Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels, Kristian Stanfill plus special guest Lecrae.

The sold out, four day conference was held at the Georgia World Congress Center and Philips Arena in Atlanta. In addition to music, Passion 2011 featured talks from Passion Founder and Passion City Church Pastor Louie Giglio along with other notable speakers and best-selling authors John Piper, Beth Moore, Andy Stanley and Francis Chan. The students generously gave more than 1.1 million dollars for global needs through the “Do Something Now” campaign. These needs included sponsoring a child through Compassion International, providing funds to build wells in India to supply fresh water, helping set up loans so families can start their own business in Afghanistan and more.

The debut of Passion: Here For You comes just a few weeks before Passion Ft. Worth, which takes place April 1-3 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. To register for the Ft. Worth event and Passion 2012, in addition to finding more information on Passion, please visit http://268generation.com/.
